Only 17 miles west of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Delta-Qualiflight's location on the grounds of Meacham International Airport provides for the use of many radio navigation facilities and radar services. Our location offers some of the best airspace in the world in which to train pilots. This class ‘B’ airspace, with its high density of navigational facilities, provides an extraordinary training environment for pilots at all levels.
Geographically, Meacham Field is 5 miles north of the city of Fort Worth and 35 miles west of the city of Dallas in northeast Texas.

At a distance of 250 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, the area does not experience the humidity of the southern part of the state.
The winters are mild, the summers are hot, spring and autumn are pleasant, and provide for good flying weather all year around.
Living expenses range are very reasonable and apartment complexes are conveniently located a few miles from Meacham Field. The helpful staff at Delta will assist students with finding accommodations and can easily arrange transportation for them to and from the school.
The Fort Worth-Dallas area has much to offer--everything from amusement parks and an active nightlife to museums and major league sports. Meacham field is just down the street from the Historical Fort Worth Stockyards, home of Billy Bob's Texas (the world's largest honkytonk) and the Old West Cowtown Coliseum where you can see real cowboys and cowgirls perform every Saturday night. But the best reason to come to Fort Worth is the abundance of friendly people.
